What is Bluebook?

Bluebook is the College Board's app for the Digital SAT: students take the real exam in it, and the official full-length practice tests run in the same app. Practising in Bluebook is therefore practising in the exact test-day environment.
What Bluebook does
It delivers the adaptive Digital SAT: Reading and Writing and Math modules that adjust difficulty after the first module, with the built-in Desmos calculator, timer and flag-for-review tools. Scores are reported on the standard 400-1600 scale.
Why practising in Bluebook matters
The adaptive behaviour is the training target: module-one accuracy sets the second module's difficulty, and pacing differs from paper-style tests. Full-length official practice tests in Bluebook are the only rehearsal that trains that experience honestly.
Practical tips for test day
Install and update Bluebook well before test day, complete the device check-in steps, charge the testing device fully, and know your login. Students using school-issued devices should confirm with their school that Bluebook is permitted and working on them.
